Are you kidding me?
So, tomorrow I am off to buy a little potty for Little One. I know, she is barely 18 months old. But, for the last 2 weeks she is pointing to her diaper right before she goes #2. I always check her and there is nothing there, and then like 2 minutes later something is there. On Friday night, I attempted to put her on our potty and she freaked out, holding onto me. I think she was afraid she was going to fall in. So, off to Target I go and we will see what becomes of this. I feel like this is way too early for all this, but maybe that is because it took Miss A forever to potty train.. we were feeling the pressure so that she could go to 3 year old preschool! :-) We will see what happens.

Ever had one of those days?
When at 730am you want to go back to bed for the day and just throw in the towel? That is what I am having... Anyone else out there feel that way? I would love to know I am not the only one. Sorry for the vent session, just trying not to feel so alone with some very hurt and frustrated feelings...

Little lessons that make a huge difference
Miss M and Miss A have been attending VBS (Vacation Bible School) this week. It has been a great experience and I was thinking that each of the beattitudes that they are "studying" each day are so easy... so why is it adults have such a hard time with them sometimes? Be Kind, Be Giving, Be Respectful, Be Forgiving. Such easy lessons that kids as young as 3 understand. It is amazing that the older we get the harder these lessons can be for some. Maybe we should all take a week off and get over to VBS! :-) I know random post, but listening to the kids talk today about all they had learned just got me thinking... I think some of us could use a refresher here and there!

A new trick....
Monsoons...
With monsoons brings: dust storms, major rain, and humidity... the last few afternoons it has been threatening... so, we decided to do some things inside rather than risk getting out to the pool and having to come home, Miss M's asthma acting up or us melting from the humidity. The kids had some fun times:
Here they are "baking"...

Here they are "baking"...
The real 4th of July
On the actual 4th, we were VERY mellow and it was nice. We went to the pool early and ended up staying a couple of hours, a good nap, board games, leftovers from the day before and a campout in the family room with hot fudge sundaes and the Macy's fireworks from NYC made it a great day!
4th of July...
Our tradition is to celebrate with the Tilghman clan... This year they were going to be leaving for a wedding so our 4th of July was on the 3rd... it was great! Both Woffinden clans were able to join us (parents and brother and family) and we had a blast... Swimming, LOTS of food, Miss Kaci's birthday, bocce ball, trampoline, Enchanted, homemade hot fudge (thanks Pam!) and great family and friends! Such a fun day! Thanks guys!
Happy Father's Day!
So, I have to admit Father's Day did not go as planned this year... I had a whole plan that the girls and I would bring breakfast in bed to Daddy-O, he would have a nice peaceful day etc... Well... Little One woke up at 5am MAD! I could not get her to calm down... by 6am the other 2 girls were up and CRANKY due to be woken up... We were trying to get everyone to calm down when Daddy-O walked downstairs to utter cranky chaos! Needless to say, breakfast was not even started and it just started the day off on the wrong foot... He did get some great homemade gifts from the girls and he is getting a new leather chair for his office once the built in office unit we ordered is installed next week... After naps (for all of us) I got up and took all 3 girls outside to play in the playpool... everyone was in much better spirits and Daddy-O was able to nap for over 3 hours!!!!!!! So, Father's day ended up on the right foot!

Yet another celebration....
The beginning of an update in pictures...
Miss A had yet ANOTHER party... (this was the never-ending birthday) when we returned home from California with all of our friends here. It was fun! Thanks everyone for helping us celebrate!
The Birthday Girl
Little One... almost 17 months old
A Barbie phone... yea!
Thanks to all for all the wonderful gifts... Miss A has been having a blast with them!!!!!!!!!
Catchup...
Ok, ok.... here I go again not "blogging" about the kids for weeks and weeks... Many of you and you know who you are make fun of my lack of blogging and then my catchups! But, it is what it is... and this summer is flying by!!!!!!!!
Since being home from California, we have kept busy with all the usuals (swimming lessons, summer camp, art class etc etc) and added many playdates, trips to the pool and yes adopting out adorable puppy to the schedule. It has been a whirwind.
We FINALLY got our first monsoon which honestly I slept through. After many days of watching threatening clouds and telling the kids that we had to stay home from the pool because I did not want to get stuck out there it finally hit.. at like 1am! Daddy-O being the night owl that he is saw it and even went outside for some of it.. I missed it completely, although waking up to 77 degrees yesterday was awesome! But, by the end of the day it was 91 (not bad) but so HUMID! Reminded me why we all say Arizona is not that bad because it is a "dry heat"... it is seriously true... give me 110 and dry heat any day over 91 and humid!!!!!!! We ended up doing many indoor activities yesterday because of the flooded yard (yes, that is how much rain we got the night before) and the humidity...
So, updating our pics for you guys.... Little One is almost 18 months old... can you believe it! She is growing so fast... trying to keep up with her sisters, but VERY active. Her new favorite thing is to climb on the kitchen table and "dance". She is all signed up for swimming lessons with her Daddy starting next Saturday for a couple of months. She also is starting up with a gymnastics class and hopefully a music class in August when the kiddos are back in school. Between those things, MOPS and going to the gym childcare for a couple of mornings she will be booked every day! Better social life than Mommy!
Miss A is still talking about her "awesome" birthday. She had a blast at Mum and Pa's and talks about Disneyland, feeding the horses, and playing with all the animals at Mum's. She keeps asking me to make an alligator cake too... Thanks Mom! :-) She is getting more and more excited about kindergarten and will be going to school all day. That should be a pretty big adjustment for her. She is just excited to go pick out a lunch box and backpack, but weren't we all? We sign up today for RE in the fall and she is all set and registered for her music class.. hard to believe that a few months from now she will be playing the piano. She will continue with swimming for a while, moving into the stroke clinics. And we are in the process of trying to put together a Daisy troop (the stage before Brownies) that she will take part in... Again, better social life than Mommy!
Miss M is getting into the "I am way too cool for this" phase! :-) It is usually amusing. She has spent the summer hanging with her friends, swimming, reading, going to art class etc... She has kept very busy! She is also starting to be the last one up. This is amazing considering that as a baby she was up all the time and usually up for the day by 5:30! Well, my friends with non-sleeping and early-rising babies... my 7 year old went to bed at 800pm last night and slept until 8:45am this morning. It can happen.. it just takes 7 years! :-) We are gearing up for 2nd grade to start in a few short weeks (thank goodness)... that entails shopping!!!! The change is amazing.. she really cares what she is wearing this year... it was interesting to say the least. Miss M will also get back into RE and will continue on with Brownies and swim team all year round.
So, basically Daddy-O and I are going to be very very tired this fall when all of these things start happenning and we have a new baby in the house. October 11th is the day that Little Boomer comes home. Why Boomer you ask? Well... we decided to get him right around the 4th of July... you know fireworks go BOOM! And it is "Boom" time in the valley of the sun with all those thunderstorms and monsoons... so Boomer it was!
Hope everyone is having a fun summer!

I am going to be a mom again!
Yep! You heard me right. Come October 11th I will be a new mommy!
This time to a baby of a furry nature... We committed last night to purchasing a Goldendoodle puppy. The mom is pregnant now and due in mid August. We will travel to California (yes, California) at the end of September to select our newest addition and he or she will be ready to come home in mid October when we will travel again to pick him or her up. We are very excited... The kids have bene wanting a puppy forever and we have been keeping our eyes open and doing our research for months now and this just all came together in the last few days. It is pretty scary what you can find out about the puppy "underworld". We are so thrilled with the breeder we found and that care she gives to each dog and puppy.
If you want to see what our puppy will look like you can always check them out:

Our parents are Mischa and Bentley. And our puppy will be more of an apricot/light color...
We are so nervous... We are already thinking about everything we need to do and get... but, we are so happy and excited to meet our newest addition!
